Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Sundry ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Samderlust Consulting ("we", "us").

2. Description of Service

Sundry is a back-office tool for solo operators and small businesses. It provides receipt scanning, expense tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting features to help you manage your business records.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sundry. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are using the app for lawful business purposes.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy of business data, receipt information, and invoices you enter into or generate with Sundry.
  • You are responsible for the invoices you send to your clients. Sundry delivers them on your behalf but has no control over their content or terms.
  • You must not use Sundry to issue fraudulent invoices, misrepresent expenses, or evade taxes.
  • You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or abuse the service.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us immediately at samderlust@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All data you enter into Sundry remains yours. We claim no ownership over your business data, receipts, or invoices.

The Sundry app, its code, design, and branding are owned by Samderlust Consulting. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimers

Sundry is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Specifically:

  • Sundry is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for your jurisdiction's requirements.
  • AI-parsed receipt data (merchant, amount, date) may contain errors. Always verify before submitting to clients or tax authorities.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Samderlust Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Sundry.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. As Sundry is currently offered free of charge, this limit is $0.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use of Sundry after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
